Lost Costumes
(From Mary Dumain)

In November 1959 we visited a nightclub in Hamburg.
This club was just around the corner from the renouned Riefe Bahn (Red Light district).
The costumes had been mislaid in Holland, en route,
and the club owner took us seriously when we offered - jokingly - to play in the nude.
He held his hands up in horror saying "It's not that type of Club!".

The costumes turned up just in time; we played late into the
early morning and slept most of the next day.
