(Recalled by Ivy)

Ivy retired to Clacton and set about entertaining the holiday makers on her electronic keyboard, opening and closing her performances with her signature tune "Lady Be Good".

"Music is part of my life, it really is, without it I would die I'm sure. It keeps me young, I feel young, I've still got my figure - I'm still size 12 and I enjoy every minute of my playing. I could play for hours, I often go out and play for the old folks seeing if they want a sing song and get-together - I miss it. I miss the companionship - the girls like Jazz - Chris Emerson, Robey Buckley and Tanza McKernon.

I miss them all - I know them all by name, I get hundreds of Christmas cards from all over the world."
